Tiny Blooms, Big Impact

For this month's team meeting card, I found myself completely inspired by the smallest element on the card... the adorable little die-cut flowers. While the lush botanical papers and layered foliage create a beautiful foundation, those tiny blooms are what truly bring the design to life.

This card is a wonderful reminder that not every focal point needs to be large and dramatic. Sometimes a collection of small details can create just as much impact as a single statement piece.

The rich tropical-inspired papers create a beautiful backdrop filled with texture, colour, and natural movement. Layering multiple patterns helps add depth while keeping everything connected through a cohesive colour palette of greens and warm floral tones.

The large circle element helps break up the background patterns and gives the eye a place to rest before exploring all the details. Around the sentiment, I created a floral wreath using the tiny die-cut flowers, allowing them to become the heart of the design.

What I love most is how those little flowers guide your eye around the card. Their bright colour contrasts beautifully against the darker greens, creating tiny pockets of interest throughout the arrangement. The layered foliage adds dimension while helping frame the sentiment and floral cluster.

Even though they're small, the flowers create a surprising amount of visual impact and help bring the entire design together.

As card makers, we often reach for the biggest die or the boldest image to create a focal point. This card reminded me that sometimes the tiniest pieces are the ones that make a project memorable.

The combination of layered greenery, rich botanical papers, and those cheerful little blooms creates a card that feels lush, elegant, and full of life. Proof that great things really do come in small packages... much like cat treats, according to my two orange craft room supervisors! 🐱🌼🌿
