Countdown to Christmas – 7 Weeks to Go! 🎄

Can you believe it? Only 7 weeks left until Christmas! The countdown is flying by, and I’m having so much fun sharing a new card with you each week.

For today’s project, I went with a fun, out-of-the-box color combo. I’ll be honest—I’m not the biggest fan of red, but at Christmas it’s hard to avoid. Pairing it with my favorite shade of Pool Party really softens the look and makes it feel more “me.” And of course, I couldn’t resist adding an adorable dog image to finish it off. 🐶✨

Basic Instructions:

Card Base – Start with a standard card base in Basic White (8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”).
Layers – Cut a Pool Party layer at 4” x 5 ¼” and adhere it to the card front.
Accent Layer – Stamp the long sweater part around the edge to create a boarder adhere some DSP in the center and Cut some gifts out of Christmas DSP adhere to the top of the dog
Focal Point – Stamp, color, and cut your dog image and add it to the center using dimensionals.
Sentiment – Stamp your Christmas greeting on a small strip of cardstock and layer it near the bottom.
Finishing Touches – Add a few embellishments (rhinestones, sequins, or a bow) for sparkle.

This card was such a joy to make, and I love how the color combo turned out. Sometimes stepping outside of your comfort zone brings the most fun surprises!
