Make a Wish Product Hop

For this round of our Product Hop I decided to pull out the adorable Stampin’ Up! Make a Wish Stamp Set set. It may not be one of the newest Online Exclusives anymore, but it is still one of my favourites for scene building and colouring. Honestly… if a stamp set gives me tiny flowers, cobblestones, fencing, and random little critters to colour, I’m sold 😂

I paired bright blues with warm earthy tones to create a fun little magical garden scene. This card was one of those “just keep colouring until you forget what time it is” kind of projects.
Card Details
Background Layer

Create your card base using Azure blue cardstock and layer a coordinating blue mat behind your stamped scene panel. Keeping the background simple really lets the colouring stand out.

Stamp & Colour

Stamp the goose on separate card stock then stamp the well 1st then the pathway stamping off to make it go around, fence starting in side the well then line up on both sides, flowers, dragonflies, onto Basic White cardstock using black ink. Colour the entire scene using your favourite colouring medium. I used soft earthy browns for the roof and pops of bright colour in the flowers and grass to keep the scene playful using our water colour pencils.

Scene Building

Adhere your card stock scene to your mat blue card stock add your goose

Sentiment

Stamp the sentiment in bright blue ink and trim into a rectangle strip. Pop it across the centre of the card using dimensionals so it becomes part of the scene without hiding too much of the colouring.

Final Touches

Finish with adhering this to your card base This set is perfect for relaxing colouring sessions and makes such fun whimsical cards.

Sometimes the best cards are the ones where you just sit down, start colouring, and accidentally create an entire tiny neighbourhood for a goose 🪿😂
Final Thoughts

The Make a Wish set is such a fun one to pull back out. It has all those little scene-building details I love, and the colouring possibilities are endless. This card feels bright, cheerful, and just a little magical, especially with that cute goose stealing the show.
