It’s time to give the 2025–2026 catalogue a fond little farewell wave

Saying goodbye to a catalogue always feels a little like packing up a craft room after a really good party… you’re happy you had the fun, but ohhh you’re going to miss your favourites

For this month’s Product Hop, we’re celebrating (and gently mourning πŸ˜„) some retiring goodies from the 2025–2026 catalogue. I just had to pull out Feathered Friends one more time. These sweet little birds are full of personality, and honestly… colouring them is like a mini escape with a cup of tea in hand

I paired them with a fun quilt-style background using scrap DSP strips. It’s a great way to use up scraps and add lots of colour and movement behind your focal image. And let’s be real… anything that lets me use all the pretty paper is a win in my craft room πŸ˜„

Basic Steps:

  1. Card Base
Cut cardstock to 4 ¼ x 11. Score at 5 ½ and fold in half to create your card base.
  2. Background Layer
    Cut a piece of card stock 5 1/4 x 4.
  3. Layered Panels
Gather DSP strips 1/4 inch  Arrange the strips diagonally across your card front, slightly staggering them until you like the layout. Adhere in place
  4. Layered Panels
Adhere in place. Then trim the over hanging bites off. then adhere the layer to card base
  5. Stamp & Colour
Stamp the Feathered Friends image and colour using your favourite blends. Fussy cut and layer onto a vellum circle die cut for a soft focal point.
  6. Final Touches
Add a sentiment banner, adhere your focal image, and finish with any extra details you love.

This card is all about colour, texture, and giving those adorable birds one last spotlight moment. I know this set will be one I reach for again and again… even after it retires!

Thanks so much for hopping along with us and celebrating these favourites before they fly away
