💚 Bold Blooms in Shy Shamrock 💚

Well this card may be a little late to the party… but it showed up looking fabulous, so we’re letting it in anyway

For March’s Team Featured Colour Challenge we were playing with Shy Shamrock, and I couldn’t resist pairing it with the stunning Gallery Blooms set. That rich green with the crisp white die cut? Chef’s kiss  It’s bright, bold, and just a little bit dramatic… basically the main character of the craft room.

Also… fair warning… both Shy Shamrock and Gallery Blooms are on the Last Chance list 😬 so if you love them, now’s the time to scoop them up before they do a disappearing act!

Basic Steps:

  1. Card Base
Cut cardstock to 4 ¼ × 11. Score at 5 ½ and fold in half to create your card base.
  2. Background Layer
Cut a layer of Shy Shamrock cardstock and blend ink to create a gradient effect, keeping the centre lighter and the edges darker.
  3. Layered Panels
Die cut a detailed floral panel from Basic White cardstock and adhere it over the blended background layer.
  4. Stamp & Colour
Stamp the floral image from Gallery Blooms in black ink onto Shy Shamrock cardstock. and s extra flower on white. Colour the flower you stamped on white, then fussy cut and adhere to the flower spot on the card.
  5. Final Touches
Stamp your sentiment onto a strip of Basic White cardstock and adhere with dimensionals. Finish with a bow and rhinestones for a touch of sparkle.

This one is all about let This card is such a fun mix of simple techniques with a big impact… and honestly, that green does all the heavy lifting 💚

Happy crafting… and may your favourite supplies never retire without warning 😉
