Colour INKspiration Challenge – Shimmery Lovebirds 💚🌸

This round of Colour INKspiration had me reaching for Lost Lagoon, Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo and they turned into the sweetest little love scene! These adorable birds from Feathered Fun are basically posing for a rom-com poster and I am here for it.

The real star though? ✨ Wink of Stella as a paintbrush! I squeezed a little shimmer onto a block and used it to softly brush the background. It gives the whole card that subtle glowy halo like the birds are standing in their own spotlight moment.

Soft florals, sparkly shimmer, and a heart made of feathers… yes please.

Basic Steps

Card Base:

white– 4 ¼ x 11, score at 5 ½

Layer 1:

Basic White – 4 x 5 ¼

Step 1:

Stamp the birds in Memento on Basic White. Colour using Lost Lagoon and Soft Sea Foam blends for the feathers, then fussy cut.

Step 2:

Die cut out the flower frame then Use Wink of Stella as a paintbrush to softly paint all the colours making it a colour shimmer across it.

Step 3:

Adhere this to layer 1 & Card base Adhere the birds in the center using dimensionals 

Step 4:

Add the “Sending Love” sentiment across the centre.

A little shimmer, a little colour magic, and suddenly we have a card that practically flutters off the table. 💚
