Make a wish for spring time dreams

Today I’m sharing my card for the Springtime challenge, and oh my goodness… this one made my crafty heart so happy! I absolutely love creating scenes, I love colouring, and I love animals… so this set was basically designed with me in mind.

I wanted it to feel like a peaceful little garden where everything is starting to bloom again.

✂️ Basic Steps

1️⃣ Create Your Background

Start with a light neutral or sky-style background. Add a fence across the back to create depth and give your scene a “yard” feel.

2️⃣ Build the Main Feature

Stamp and colour the wishing well. Use darker shades along the stones and under the roof lines to add dimension. This becomes the anchor of your whole scene.

3️⃣ Add Greenery

Stamp and colour bushes or shrubs along the bottom of the fence. This helps ground the scene and fills in the middle area beautifully.

4️⃣ Bring in the Flowers

Add small colourful flowers across the front. Mixing colours makes it feel lively and really brings in that springtime energy 🌸

5️⃣ Don’t Forget the Star of the Show

Stamp, colour, and fussy cut (or die cut) the sweet little duck. Pop it up with dimensionals so it stands out in front of the garden.

6️⃣ Add the Sentiment

Place your greeting near the top so it feels like it’s floating in the sky area. A soft, happy message works perfectly with a spring theme.

7️⃣ Finishing Touches

Add tiny details like butterflies, extra shading, or highlights with a gel pen. These little extras make the whole scene feel alive.

This card is a reminder that spring is all about fresh starts, soft colours, and cute little critters wandering through gardens 🐥🌼
