Monochromatic Magic with Lemon Lime Twist! 🍋💚

Hello crafty friends! Today I’m hopping along with the Monochromatic Hop and we’re featuring the super bright and happy Lemon Lime Twist. This colour is basically sunshine with a little sass… and I am HERE for it!
For my card I went full Lemon Lime Twist vibes with lots of layers, a little texture, and the CUTEST feathered focal point. It’s fresh, fun, and perfect for sending a quick little note.

Basic Steps to Make This Card 💚

1. Create your card base

Start with a standard card base Basic White

2. Add a textured background

On a white card stock layer that is slightly smaller Stamp the leaves around in Lemon Lime Twist
Then emboss the Basic White layer for the background.

3. Build your layered focal panel

Die cut the clip in basic gray 4 corners and 2 square layering pieces in Lemon Lime Twist, take one of them and heat embossed in white
Adhere the 2 square layers and corners together then adhere them them together with dimensionals on your embossed layer including the clip.

4. Stamp and colour your focal image

Stamp your birds onto Basic White cardstock using Memento Black Ink.
Colour using Stampin’ Blends (I used Granny apple green for my dark shading then went over with Lemon Lime Twist) then adhere the bird to the front embossed layer and then adhere it all to your card base.

5. Add the sentiment

Stamp your sentiment on a small strip of Basic White adhere to the bottom corner tucking it in one of the corners.

6. Add finishing touches

Add a few gems/embellishments and wink a stella the clip for sparkle.
then take your Lemon Lime Twist and splatter some ink by taping it with bone folder.
