12 Weeks of Christmas – Only 3 Weeks Left!

 

This week’s countdown card is starring the most adorable bundled-up snowman, and honestly… I think he’s ready for his close-up. With just 3 weeks left until Christmas, the craft table is officially a blizzard of cardstock, torn layers, and “just one more embellishment.”

This frosty friend is part of my Festive Friends series, and he brought all the winter vibes with his cozy hat, bright scarf, and snowy background.

Basic Steps to Create This Card

1️⃣ Build Your Card Base

Start with a simple white card base. It’s the perfect snowy canvas for your winter scene. Then add mat layer of white. 

2️⃣ Tear Your Layers

Create those gorgeous icicle-like strips by tearing our two toned cardstock in shades of blueberry bushel, and Pool party. Layer them across your mat layer white to get that snowy-mountain magic.

3️⃣ Stamp & Colour Your Snowman

Stamp your cute bundled-up snowman and colour him with your favourite blues and wintery tones. Give him rosy cheeks if he looks like he’s been out snow-frolicking. (Once again I had a blast colouring him in our monthly colouring class with Mitosu Crafts) Adhere him to the card layer with dimensionals 

4️⃣ Add Your Snowflakes & Details

Die-cut a few snowflakes and tree, scatter them around the card, add the tree behind Then Tie on a ribbon

5️⃣ Sentiment Time

Stamp your greeting and pop it on a little strip across the front. “Merry Christmas and Happy Wishes” is perfect for this chilly cutie.

6️⃣ Finishing Touches

Add embellishments, and add a sprinkle of sparkle. Because snowmen demand sparkle, and admire your winter wonderland masterpiece.
