Christmas Countdown – 9 Weeks to Go!

 

Happy Wednesday, friends!
We’re keeping the countdown to Christmas rolling, and can you believe it — only 9 weeks to go! Today’s card is one of my favorites because it’s jam-packed with adorable animals. 🐰🦊🦉 You know I can’t resist including them whenever I can!

For this card, I kept things simple and fun by using mostly die cuts from the Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. This is one of my go-to tricks for the busy holiday season because DSP die cuts make cardmaking quick, easy, and still super cute.

 Basic Instructions:

  1. Card Base – Start with a standard card base in Very Vanilla.

  2. Mat Layer – Cut a piece of Garden Green smaller then the base and adhere to the card front.

  3. Layer – Cut a piece of patterned DSP for the background and adhere to the card front.

  4. Circle Layer – Add a stitched or die-cut circle as a focal point.

  5. Die Cuts – Arrange animal, present, and tree die cuts from the DSP pack around the circle.

  6. Sentiment – Stamp a sentiment and fussy cut it out adhere to the center of the circle. I used ‘Tis the Season.

  7. Ribbon – Tie a simple bow with ribbon or trim and adhere to the side.

  8. Finishing Touches – Add some enamel dots or embellishments for sparkle.

And that’s it — a sweet and festive card full of holiday cheer (and animals 🐿️)! Perfect for mass producing when the holiday season gets busy.
