Monochromatic Hop – Featuring Crushed Curry
It’s time for another round of our Monochromatic Hop, and this week we are highlighting the warm and cheerful Crushed Curry. This card turned out to be one of my absolute favorites—so simple, yet it just makes me happy. Sometimes the cleanest designs really shine the brightest!
The leafy details combined with the golden tones of Crushed Curry bring such warmth to the card. I really need to pull this set out more often—it’s perfect for quick but stunning projects.
Basic Steps to Create This Card

Card Base

Start with a Basic White card base (8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”).

Layering

Add a Crushed Curry cardstock layer cut slightly smaller than the card front.

Top with a white card stock stamp sentiment on the bottom adhere both to card base

Center Panel
take your DSP cut about a inch off the bottom and stamp leafy designs in Crushed Curry.

Cut a Crushed Curry cardstock strip to run vertically down the card and flag the bottom.
Adhere the DSP and flagged crushed curry cardstock to the card base

Stamped Focal Image

Stamp the leaf and circle in Crushed Curry on Basic White cardstock.

fussy cut the image and adhere with dimensionals for added depth.

Finishing Touches

Add a few small butterfly embellishments in coordinating Crushed Curry for a little extra pop. ๐ฆ
