Scenic Adventure – Just a Note
There’s something magical about summer in the mountains — the rolling green hills, wildflowers swaying in the breeze, and the smell of pine in the air. A day spent wandering scenic trails feels like a reset for the soul, and of course, no mountain day is complete without ending around a campfire, roasting marshmallows, and making s’mores.

This card is my paper version of that perfect summer day — a little “just a note” to send a bit of mountain peace to someone special.

Basic Instructions

Card Base
Start with your choice of card base — I used a soft white to keep the focus on the scenic layers.

Background Scene

Stamp or lightly draw clouds on your background panel.
Add layers of green die-cut hills and trees to create depth.

Foreground Details
Die cut and layer pine trees, flowers, and the campfire.
Tuck the campfire at the base of the trees for a cozy, story-like scene.

Sentiment
Stamp “Just a Note” on a small strip of cardstock and attach near the trees.

Finishing Touches
Add a few tiny die-cut butterflies for movement and charm.
Mount the whole scene inside a circular window frame for a peek-through effect.
