Monochromatic hop- Blackberry Bliss
Monochromatic Hop – Featuring Blackberry Bliss!
Hello crafty friends!
It’s Friday, which means it’s time for another Monochromatic Hop, and today we’re diving into the rich, regal hue of Blackberry Bliss! ๐
For this week’s theme, I reached for the Mixed Florals set—it’s such a gorgeous and versatile collection. I paired it with the last bit of Blackberry Bliss DSP I had from the Floral Charm series. Add in a little gold foil, and the whole card came together beautifully!
Basic Steps:
Card Base & Layers
Start with a standard card base.
Cut a gold foil layer slightly smaller than your base and adhere it.
Add your top panel (white cardstock) split with the Blackberry Bliss DSP at the bottom and a strip of gold foil in between for extra flair.
Stamp & Color Florals
Stamp your flower images from the Mixed Florals set onto white cardstock.
Color them in using coordinating colors
Die Cut & Arrange
Die cut or Fussy cut your florals and arrange them on your card front. Play around with the placement until you like the balance.
Sentiment
Stamp your sentiment (“Thinking of You”) in Crushed Curry on a white strip. Add it with foam adhesive for dimension.
Finishing Touches
Add a few embellishments or sequins for a final sparkle.
Final Thoughts:
Blackberry Bliss can feel bold and moody, but pairing it with gold makes everything feel luxe and balanced. I love how this card turned out—and I hope it inspires you to dig into your stash and give monochromatic a try!
