Global Design Project #511 – Letters or Numbers

This week’s Global Design Project (#511) challenge theme is letters or numbers. I had such a great time working on this one because it gave me the perfect excuse to pair two of my new favorites: the Lights of Aurora Designer Series Paper (coming soon in the Sept–Jan Mini Catalog!) and the Scenic Adventure stamp set.

The DSP has such a dreamy, glowing sky effect—it instantly made me think of adventures under the northern lights. To tie into the “letters” theme, I layered it with a background featuring scripted text, which adds both texture and movement.

For the focal point, I used the Scenic Adventure set to create bold black silhouettes of mountains and trees. The contrast against the aurora background really makes the scene pop. To finish it off, I added the sentiment “You’re Amazing” across the sky and a few little embellishments for extra sparkle.
