July Tec Tuesday

🌳 Technique Tuesday with #CraftyCollaborations 🌳

This month’s technique is: Paper Tearing!

I love using torn paper to bring nature scenes to life. Whether it’s lush green trees, rolling grassy hills, or the soft edges of a blue sky, tearing paper adds beautiful organic texture and interest.

For today’s card, I used torn cardstock to create layered tree tops and forest greenery. It pairs perfectly with the sweet bears from the Peekaboo Forest stamp set. Just look at them peeking out to say “So Happy For You!” 🐻🌲

This simple technique makes such a big difference in storytelling through your cards — don’t be afraid to tear, layer, and play!

Tip: Use different shades of green and brown cardstock for a more dimensional look. Gently roll or distress the torn edge with your fingers for extra texture.
