Relaxing Waterside Wishes

Welcome back for this month's Coast to Coast Team Challenge! This time our theme was Wedding, and I wanted to create something that captured the feeling of a happy future together. Instead of traditional wedding imagery, I chose a pair of Adirondack chairs sitting side by side, ready for quiet mornings, evening chats, and all the adventures that come with sharing life with someone special.
The floral background adds a romantic touch while keeping the design soft, simple, and elegant.

Basic Steps

1. Create the Background
Cut cardcase and a mat layer smaller then add a rectangle layer and tear the edges off and layer your  floral patterned paper panel to the centre of the card front.

2. Stamp & Colour the Chairs
Stamp the Adirondack chairs onto Basic White cardstock. to create the chair going the opposite way stamp your chair on our Silicone Craft Sheet then layer your card stock over and rub your fingers over it. Colour them using your favourite colouring using our skin tone markers and carefully fussy cut or die cut them.

3. Add the Sentiment
Stamp the congratulations sentiment and trim it into a small banner. Adhere it near the top centre of the card.

4. Build the Scene
Arrange the chairs side by side across the card front. Add dimensionals behind the chairs to create depth and make them stand out from the floral background.

5. Finishing Touches
Wrap ribbon across the card and tie a small bow. Add a few iridescent embellishments for sparkle and adhere everything to the card front.

Final Thoughts

I love how this card tells a story without needing a lot of extra details. Two chairs sitting together instantly bring thoughts of companionship, friendship, and a lifetime of shared moments. That makes it a perfect choice for celebrating a wedding and wishing the happy couple many peaceful years ahead.

Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to hop along and see what the rest of the Coast to Coast Team created for this month's challenge!
