Relaxing Waterside Sympathy Swap

I made this card for a fun gathering and swap with fellow demos, and this peaceful chair scene felt perfect for the sympathy card group. The soft blues, copper details, and layered circles give it a calm relaxing vibe.

I also love how easy this layout is to switch up with different DSP and stamped images, so it’s a great one for swaps when you need multiple cards without losing your crafty sanity 🐱

Background Layer

Create your card base basic white cardstock. Stamp the background with leafy images in crumb cake to create a subtle waterside feel without overpowering the focal point.

Stamp & Colour

Stamp the Adirondack chair image onto Basic White cardstock using black ink. Colour using our new hydrangea Hue, adding darker shading between the slats and under the chair for dimension. Fussy cut or die cut the image.

Layered Panels

Die cut or punch 3 circles several sized using coordinating patterned papers. Layer and overlap them on the card base then add the chair using dimensionals.

Sentiment Layer

Stamp the sentiment in hydrangea Hue and trim into a small banner strip. Pop it up with dimensionals across the chair for added layers.

Final Touches

Finish with a small gem or embellishment for just a little sparkle. Then clean up the pile of scraps your “organized crafting session” somehow created 😂
