🌸🐞 Product Hop – Hello Mini Catalogue Cuteness!

Today’s Product Hop project features goodies from the brand new Mini Catalogue from Stampin’ Up! and I could not resist the super adorable Cute as a Bug set paired with the coordinating DSP. If it has sweet little critters, cheerful colours, and scene-building potential… it’s already in my craft room basket.

This card is all about happy woodland vibes, playful bugs, and a soft storybook feel that just makes you smile. I wanted it to feel like a tiny celebration happening right in the grass.

Basic Steps to Create This Card

1️⃣ Create the Card Base
Start with a landscape card base in a darker neutral to help all those bright little bugs pop.

2️⃣ Add Your DSP Panels
Cut coordinating DSP pieces and layer them across the front to create sections. Mixing small prints keeps it busy in the best possible way without stealing the spotlight from the stamped images.

3️⃣ Add a Decorative Trim
Wrap a ribbon or trim horizontally across the card front where the DSP panels meet. This helps tie everything together and adds texture.

4️⃣ Make the Feature Circle
Die cut a large circle for the main focal area. If you have a stitched or detailed circle die, even better. That little detail adds so much charm.

5️⃣ Stamp Your Bug Friends
Stamp several of the cute bug images using black ink onto white cardstock. Colour them in with your favourite colouring tools. Bright, happy colours really bring these tiny characters to life.

6️⃣ Build Your Scene
Arrange the bugs inside and slightly overlapping the circle to create movement and a playful scene. Pop some up on dimensionals for extra depth.

7️⃣ Add Flowers & Extras
Stamp and colour a few florals or greenery from the set and tuck them around the bugs to make it feel like they are exploring their garden world.

8️⃣ Add the Sentiment
Stamp a cheerful greeting and trim it out. Adhere it across part of the circle so it connects the focal point with the background.

9️⃣ Finishing Touches
Add a few subtle embellishments or highlights for sparkle and dimension. Step back and admire your tiny bug parade 🐞✨
