Coast-to-Coast Product Hop | Anything Goes

Welcome back, crafty friends. Today I’m hopping along with my Coast-to-Coast team for our latest Product Hop, and the theme is… Anything Goes. Basically crafty freedom with zero rules, which is always dangerous in the best way.

For my card, I had a blast pairing a brand new stamp set Gliding Garden Swing coming next month with some gorgeous Designer Series Paper from Hobby Haven. I love mixing shiny new goodies with paper I already adore. It’s like introducing a new friend to the group and instantly knowing they’re going to get along.

The soft colours, layered patterns, and cozy details really came together perfectly. And honestly, this card gives off the same vibe as those decorative pillows moms and grandmas collect. You know the ones. Super cute, carefully arranged, and absolutely not for actual use. Look only. No touching.

I added a bit of texture, a sweet focal point, and some embellishments to finish it off, keeping everything playful but polished. This is the kind of card that works for almost any occasion and is perfect to have on hand when you need a quick hello or thinking-of-you card.

Be sure to hop along and check out what the rest of the Coast-to-Coast team created. With an Anything Goes theme, you’re guaranteed lots of inspiration and crafty eye candy.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy crafting

Basic Card Steps

  1. Create a standard card base and adhere a coordinating mat to the front I used coastal Cabanna.

  2. Cut and layer several pieces of Designer Series Paper in different patterns and sizes panels, adhering them vertically across the card front. And a larger rectangle for the bottom

  3. Stamp, colour, and cut a bunch of pillows and book from DSP, then layer it slightly overlapping

  4. Add a strip of textured ribbon or trim across the lower portion of the card for a little extra dimension.

  5. Stamp your favourite sentiment onto a circle die cut and adhere it to the upper portion of the card using Dimensionals.

  6. Tie a simple bow and adhere it to the card front.

  7. Finish with a few embellishments scattered around the design.

Simple layers, fun patterns, and just enough texture to feel fancy… like a decorative pillow you admire but definitely don’t sit on 😉
