Monochromatic Hop – Featuring Balmy Blue
It’s time for another Monochromatic Hop, and this week I’m featuring Balmy Blue—one of my top 3 favorite colors! 💙 This shade is soft, dreamy, and works beautifully for winter and Christmas cards. For today’s project, I paired Balmy Blue with shiny gold accents to really bring the festive vibes to life.

Card Details
I used the Ornamental Christmas set for this card. The background is filled with gold foil ornaments, which instantly gives that holiday sparkle. The focal point is a large Balmy Blue ornament layered on top using silent night 12x12, then heat embossed with “Merry Christmas” in gold. To finish it off, I tied two little gold bows for some extra festive detail. A few enamel dots scattered around complete the look.
This card is simple but so elegant, and it really shows how much you can do with just one main color!
