Just a Note with Christmas Greenery

The countdown is on—only a few more days until the September–January Mini Catalog goes live! This catalog is packed with so many wonderful fall, winter, and holiday goodies. πŸπŸŽ„✨

But one of my favorite things about crafting is finding new ways to use supplies beyond their “intended” season. Just because a set is designed for Christmas doesn’t mean you have to use it that way. For today’s card, I used the Christmas Greenery set to create this bright and cheerful “Just a Note” card. Perfect for any time of the year!

Basic Instructions

Card Base

  • Start with a white card base.

  • Add a layer of misty moonlight, slightly smaller than your base.

Background

  • Cut a panel of mistiy moonlight

  • Add a mate of peach pie for extra pop.

Focal Point

  • Stamp and color the Christmas Greenery floral bundle using markers or blends.

  • Stamp flowers in Misty Moonlight on Misty Moonlight card stock (creating your own DSP)

  • Die cut a green stitched circle and place it slightly off-center.

  • Cut out the bouquet .

Assemble

  • Adhere the 2 card base layers together and the back ground mats together and to the card base.

  • attach the bouquet to the green circle then attach it to the card base with dimensionals

Sentiment

  • Stamp “just a NOTE” on a small white strip and layer it across the front.

Final Touches

  • Embellish with a few sparkly gems for some shine.

I love how this card shows that holiday sets don’t have to be limited—you can stretch them to create year-round projects!
