mono Hop Calypso coral

Welcome back, crafty friends!
It’s time for another Monochromatic Hop with my amazing #craftycollaborations team, and this week we’re highlighting the warm, earthy tone of Calypso Coral. I had so much fun pulling together this "thank you" card using a mix of bold leaves, textured layers, and natural florals.

Project Details:

For this card, I wanted to really let Calypso Coral shine. I started by layering floral elements and large leafy images  in different shades of coral for depth and visual interest.

To bring in more texture, I used a woven-look DSP for the background—doesn't it give that cozy, handwoven vibe? I love how it pairs with the botanicals! A few gold embellishments were the perfect finishing touch.

Simple Steps:

  1. Create your card base in Basic White and mat with Early Espresso for contrast.

  2. Stamp Flowers on your white card stock using Calypso Coral ink. Then Stamp the leaves on separate card stock.

  3.  fussy cut your leaves.

  4. Adhere the woven DSP across the center of the card front.

  5. Arrange your foliage, tucking behind and around the sentiment circle.

  6. Stamp your sentiment and add it to the center using dimensionals.

  7. Finish with a few sequins or embellishments for a pop of sparkle!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out the rest of the hop over on Instagram and see how everyone used Calypso Coral in their own creative way.
