July product hop - Online

Welcome to another fun Product Insta Hop with my #craftycollaborations team! This month, we’re featuring Online Exclusive products—and I’ve taken full advantage of them to create this vibrant scenic adventure card. If you love mixing dies, bold colours, and creating layers of landscape, this one's for you!

I used a variety of Online Exclusive stamp and die sets to build this detailed scene. From peaceful lakeside florals to towering mountain ranges and a cozy cottage nestled in the trees, every detail was crafted with care and colour!

Basic Instructions:

1. Background Prep  Mountains & Trees:
Die-cut your mountain range and tree lines  water, grass and flowers from coloured cardstock. 

3. Scenic Layers:
Build your landscape from back to front:

  • Take white cardstock 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 Along the bottom Starting on the left slight off the paper stamp the trail stamp then the bridge stamp. 

  • next higher up stamp the cottage then using masking paper stamp and fussy the cottage then layer it over top the cottage and stamp the trail stamp again of the paper. 

  • Colour your scene and the die cut flowers. 

4. Scenic layers 2:
  • Fussy cut the top of the scene out. 

  • Cut your Ski DSP 5 3/8 x 2(ish)

  • And another white layer 5 3/8 x 4 1/8

5. Foreground & Flowers:.
  • Take your white 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 this wont be seen its just base to build our scene, Add adhesive to the back/bottom of the water card stock and layer it to the bottom.

  • Then add adhesive to the back/bottom of the scene adhere this slightly behind the blue water paper. 

  • repeat this for the line of trees and the mountain ranges. Layer in your trees (I did cut the trees that were connected to spread them out) 

  • Then repeat again for the grass at the bottom of the scene on the water and then tuck in flowers.

6. Final Touches:
  • Go behind anything that is really lose and add adhesive, Adhere to card base.


Final Thoughts:

  • Online exclusives often include hidden gems—don’t be afraid to mix and match sets!

  • Use your black water colour pencil to add some shading to your coloured image. 

  • Try experimenting with colour combos that stretch beyond the usual. The bold mountain colours here made everything pop!
