Hello crafty friends!

I’m so excited to share today’s project with you! I’ve been having a blast mixing two of my current favorite Stampin’ Up!® sets: Framed Scenes and Peaceful Pier. As someone who’s always been more of a fall and winter person, I decided to bring that cozy seasonal feel to this scenic card by filling it with gorgeous autumn trees and a calm lake view.

This card reminds me of crisp days by the water, golden leaves, and peaceful strolls. Let’s dive into the steps so you can create your own version of this fall retreat!

Basic Instructions:

Stamp Your Scene
Start by stamping your landscape using images from the Framed Scenes set—bridge, trees, and house—across the background. On the lower right, stamp the dock from Peaceful Pier to give the scene depth and a grounded focal point.
Color It In
Bring the scene to life with vibrant coloring! Using our Blends to get that deep blue lake, textured wood dock, and colorful foliage. warm fall tones: rich oranges, fiery reds, and golden yellows, with a few evergreens for contrast. Take your time blending for a smooth look.
Add Finishing Touches
Add a few birds in the sky for movement and visual interest.
Assemble Your Card
Mount the finished panel onto a black mat and adhere it to your card base. Done!

Final Thoughts:

I love how this card turned out! The combination of the two sets really helped create a peaceful fall escape on paper. Don’t be afraid to mix and match scene-building sets—you’ll be surprised at how easily they can work together!
