Monochromatic Hop – Flirty Flamingo Sunshine Vibes

It’s the end of the week, and you know what that means – it’s Monochromatic Hop time! This round we’re featuring Flirty Flamingo, the brightest, sassiest shade of pink in the craft room. I paired it with the Sunshine Vibes set, and my niece Tori joined in the fun! Crafting with family means extra giggles, a few snack breaks, and sometimes a little more adhesive than necessary. 😂

This card is all about sending out good vibes, and I think Flirty Flamingo brings the perfect pop of cheerful energy!

Steps:

  1. Card Base:

    • Cut Basic White cardstock to 4 ¼" x 11" and score at 5 ½".

  2. Background:

    • Emboss a layer of Basic White with your favorite textured embossing folder (5 1/4 x 4).

  3. DSP Strip:

    • Cut a strip of floral Designer Series Paper, colour in with Flirty and adhere to the right side of the embossed panel.

    • Add a ribbon along the edge.

  4. Rainbow Arches:

    • Die-cut different rainbow arches in Flirty Flamingo cardstock.

    • Arrange and adhere them in a layered rainbow pattern across the card front.

  5. Sentiment:

    • Stamp “Sending Good Vibes” in Flirty Flamingo ink on Basic White cardstock.

    • Punch or die-cut into a circle and pop it up with dimensionals.

  6. Finishing Touches:

    • Add a few die-cut hearts around the rainbow.

    • Attach the completed panel to the card base.

    • Lightly splatter a little Flirty Flamingo ink over the texture for extra depth.

    • Top off with wink a stella

🌈 Final Thoughts

Bright, bold, and oh-so-cheerful — this Flirty Flamingo card was such a joy to make, especially with my niece by my side.  This is the perfect reminder that crafting isn’t just about the finished project — it’s about the memories you make along the way.
